Edelisa Palileo (Miss Eddy), has studied dance since she was 7 years old. She graduated from the dance program at Mayfield School of the Arts, continued her dance education at York and Ryerson Universities, and later, attended the School of Toronto Dance Theatre.
In 2005, she received her certificate in ADAPT syllabus – 3 year, Teachers Training Program (TTS) in Tap & Jazz. Through her years of training, she has had wonderful opportunities to learn from many influential choreographers such as Peggy Baker, Danny Grossman and Desrosier. She has a solid background in ballet and modern, and enjoyed learning many other dance styles throughout her training, such as belly dancing, salsa, and flamenco.
Edelisa has been part of the staff at the Bracebridge School of Ballet since 2006.
Edelisa is inspired to share her love of dance’s kinesthetics, artistry and musicality with such spirited students. Edelisa is also a Registered Massage Therapist and practices in Bracebridge.
